The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) offers cost share assistance to agricultural producers to implement agricultural conservation practices. The Farm Service Agency (FSA) determines the eligibility of producers for the EQIP program. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) determines the eligibility of the land. Eligible producers may apply for cost share assistance on conservation practices that will address the identified resource concern that has been identified by the Local Work Group (LWG). The priority resource concern for Montgomery County is water quality.

OUR MISSION

The purpose of the Montgomery County Soil & Water Conservation District is to provide land owners and urban dwellers with information, education, and technical assistance to implement conservation practices designed to preserve and maintain our county's natural resources.
